While it's nice to have dual alarms and the ability to choose weekdays or weekends, I find it annoying that because I live in an area that doesn't observe Daylight Savings Time, I have to now correct the time on this clock because it adjusts DST automatically and that feature can't be turned off. It's a great feature, but since you know part of the contiguous US won't need it (evidenced by the large sticker informing me that I now have to adjust my clocks for DST) give it an on/off option please. Very frustrating Emerson!! -- Forces some of us to adjust for DST

Overall the clock is fine; however, even on the lowest setting, it is too bright to sleep with. -- Good but bright

You plug it in, it sets the time by itself, FTW. You set your preferred time to wake up and it makes noise, FTW. It has a nice large display which I can read from the other side of the room, FTW. It's an alarm clock, not a stereo/boombox/HiFi so don't expect to rock a house party with this thing. But do expect to not ever have to set an alarm clock again! -- YAY an alarm clock, FTW!

This item is good as an alarm clock, with the dual alarm feature, the large bright numerals. and the chime sounds for "buzzer". Without individual hour-minute set, it takes a little longer to scroll to your desired time. The radio, however, is indistinct, very poor sound quality. In addition, it is extremely hard to set to a given station frequency reading which shows up on the LED readout.
