Does exactly what it says! The sound quality is also excellent. I bought a second unit for my daughter. The ability to find, add and manage radio stations for the unit on line greatly simplifies things and also enables one to review the wide variety of stations available by location, genre, etc. The only criticism I have if using a wifi connection, it has to be a very strong one. Best to use a cable connection if possible. -- Great Product

I searched for a long time before selecting this item. It has excellent sound. It looks nice. The only issues I have with this product are that it isn't a "quick and easy" set up. Not challenging, just more effort than one might think. - The clock display becomes miniscule while in radio mode. And the input jack is on the front instead of the back. - I had considered hooking this up to some exterior speakers, but with the input jack in view, this would have looked 'junky'. That being said, I was so impressed with the sound, that I did not feel the need to use speakers after all. I love being able to listen to stations all around the world. This really is a terrific product. Having researched many other similar products, I'd have to say this is one of the best out there. -- Excellent product for its price range - terrific sound!

In this age of microwave speed and advanced technology I suppose there is the danger that some people will never be satisfied. I love my I Luv! If you want to listen to local radio stations then buy an average common radio. If you are buying this as I did, to listen to music from around the world, to improve your foreign language skills, etc. you can't go wrong. My language skills have improved immensely since buying this radio. It sounds great, way better than shortwave. I have it on all the time and am quite pleased with the access I have to other cultures. Sure, when my internet goes down so does it. That's a given and is the fault of my internet provider, not the radio. I'm not very technologically inclined and I managed to program my 20 favorite stations without too much trouble, and didn't mind one bit that I had to do it with the radio, not the PC. If I wanted to have to use my PC I would just use my PC for listening to interent radio. I bought this so I wouldn't have to be tied to my PC! I can take it upstairs with me when I am doing the dishes or my homework etc. then take it back downstairs to listen to it in my bedroom. It isn't huge, but I can honestly say that I gladly give it prominence on my bedside stand. I LUV it! -- Be where you want to be at the press of a button
